So rounding off 2011with yet another top 20 finished was just fantastic. My first season at national level has been great, a huge learning curve at times, for both my team and always hard work but wow we’ve learnt a lot and we’re so glad we made the huge step up to the British championship because it has been so rewarding. Now it’s all about making plans and looking forward to 2012. I spent the last weekend of racing, at Brands Hatch, experimenting with a new riding technique. This is something I’m really excited about as I’ll be taking this with me in to the new season and I feel it will be massive in helping me reduce my lap times. The potential progress I know I can make puts a huge smile on my face – hurry up 2012! On the 30th of October my team and I are heading to Cadwell for an Auto 66 meeting held there. This will be the last outing for the team and I. It’s going to be used as a test session as we have some fresh modifications to try before the weather turns really bad and we can’t get on track and are stuck working on it in the garage. So this is farewell from me for now. I can’t thank you enough for reading my blog and the help & support you’ve given me throughout the 2011 season – the team and I hope we can count on your I support in 2012? Maybe you can by buying one of my official 2012 calendars? It’s the first time we’ve done this but we hope to boost my 2012 budget by selling them for £5 each.
