as the MVR-D Suzuki rider finished just outside of the top-ten in the opening race but suffered with fatigue in the second. Qualifying in 14th, Karro looked set to mount another enthusiastic attack for a top-ten finish in the opening race, before a crash dropped him back to 30th. Quickly re-mounting, the RM-Z250 rider pushed hard in the final stages, to come home in an impressive 12th place. Looking to improve on his first race finish, Karro set out in determined fashion, but by half race distance started to suffer from fatigue. A lapse of concentration while taking a breather, forced a small crash relegating him to 24th. With little energy left, Karro still managed to pull back through to 20th at the flag, crucially maintaining his championship position. Karro commented, "Today didn't quite go to plan. To be inside the top-ten is my target at all world rounds, so naturally I'm a little disappointed with the first race result. The second race was a real blow, but these things happen and my speed has been good recently, so I'm confident that we will come back stronger at Loket." Team manager, Mark Chamberlain, commented,"Matiss is a little hard on himself really. To finish 12th in such strong competition is not bad and if he hadn't taken that tumble he'd have easily secured a top-ten result. The second race today was just one of those things. If anything, he probably pushed too hard to recover in the first race and this left him with little energy left to challenge. However, I'm confident that we're still moving in the right direction and that better things should come at the next round in the Czech Republic."Girlracer Magazine Worth Checking - Motocross news - Superbike news
