With Karro struggling in qualifying, the young Latvian's determination paid off in the first of three MX2 races, pushing through the pack to a solid seventh place finish. Less success in the second moto, saw Karro play catch up on his RM-Z250, eventually crossing the line in a disappointing 12th. But by the final race of the day, Karro was back on the pace, to just miss out on a podium finish in fourth. Matiss Karro commented, "I'm not a huge fan of the track, but I kept my head down and tried hard. The second race was obviously a disappointment and overall I'd have liked to finish higher than eighth, but on the whole we've bagged some solid points. In MX1, Carl Nunn had a tougher time, but crucially rode to a top-ten finish in the second race in eighth, after a tough start due to a DNF. Race three saw a 15th place finish, ending the day in 15th overall. Team manager, Mark Chamberlain, commented,"It's been tough and not exactly what we'd hoped for today. Both riders tried hard and came back from a tough start, but regardless of this we're still not where we need to be. The whole team has worked incredibly hard this season, which makes things even more frustrating, but I'm confident that we'll see improved performances from both riders as we move into the second half of the season. I'd also like to congratulate our youth rider Joe Bamfield on a great ride to a top-ten overall. He continues to try hard and has impressed the whole team".
