Established ten years ago, the MXCP is affiliated with the Auto Cycle Union and works to help young people develop their life-skills through a program of motorcycle mechanics, off-road training and track preparation. Ric Newton of MXCP commented, "We are delighted that Suzuki has chosen to support our cause. The project has grown from strength to strength in the last ten years and we believe with the backing of a proactive manufacturer like Suzuki, things can only get better." A fleet of off-road Suzuki machines has been provided, ranging from the DR-Z70 though to the small and big wheel variants of the DR-Z125 as well as the renowned schoolboy motocross machine, the RM85. The project is utilized by local schools during selected weekdays and runs open rider training days on Saturdays and holidays where anyone from seven years of age upwards can learn to ride, with equipment and machinery all supplied. http://www.girlracer.co.uk
