After suffering a slump in 2009 and regaining some lost ground in 2010, Japanese car manufacturer and iconic rally car makers Subaru are riding a new wave of increased support in rallying circles.

It has been long rumoured that the wild yet fast Russian rally driver Evgeny Novikov will make a return to the World Rally Championship in 2011, and this rumour has been confirmed with the 20-year-old announcing he will once again take up the challenge of the World Rally Championship.
