Waving goodbye and saying hello

Almost a year ago I responded to a request from Girlracer Magazine for contributors.

At the time I loved reading articles but had little experience in writing them, working in profession known for its expertise in numbers rather than words. There were a few people who thought I was crazy but it has turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The reason why I’ve written this column though is to share another decision I’ve made with you, one that will hopefully turn out as well as the last one; that decision is to move to the UK.

While it will be goodbye for my current column in a sense, it’s also hello because I’m looking forward to expanding the range of motorsports coverage in it. I will still endeavour to bring you the coverage you have come to expect from the column, particularly in regards to the Australian V8 Supercars Series and ANDRA Pro Series Drag Racing. However I also look forward to delving into a variety of European motorsports and applying a unique perspective to them. This is one facet which I think differentiates Girlracer Magazine, the personality the writers and columnists bring to their articles.

I’ve still got a couple of pieces to come before I fly to the other side of the world but after they’re up I’m taking a bit of a holiday before I settle in to life in a foreign land. So you may not hear from me for a little while, but there’s no reason to remove the Power Fix column page from your bookmarks! Chelsea Woods Girlracer magazine

I do not think there is an RSS feed for them as yet.
